Chengdu, formerly romanized as Chengtu, is the provincial capital of Sichuan province in Southwest China, as well as a major city in Western China. It holds sub-provincial administrative status. The administrative area houses 14,297,600 inhabitants: 9,922,534 within the municipality's eleven urban and suburban districts and 4,375,066 in the surrounding satellite towns and counties. According to the 2010 census, with 10,484,996 inhabitants in its built-up (or metro) area including Guanghan City in Deyang and Xinjin County, Chengdu is the fifth-most populous agglomeration in China. Chengdu is one of the most important economic, financial, commercial, cultural, transportation, and communication centers in Western China. Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is one of the 30 busiest airports in the world, and Chengdu Railway Station is one of the six biggest railway stations in China. Chengdu also hosts many international companies and more than 12 consulates. More than 260 Fortune 500 companies have established branches in Chengdu due to huge demand of Western China. In 2006, it was named China's 4th-most liveable city by China Daily.
China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a sovereign state in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with a population of over 1.35 billion. The PRC is a one-party state governed by the Communist Party, with its seat of government in the capital city of Beijing. It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces; five autonomous regions; four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing); two mostly self-governing special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau); and claims sovereignty over Taiwan.
Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometers, China is the world's second-largest country by land area, and either the third or fourth-largest by total area, depending on the method of measurement. China's landscape is vast and diverse, ranging from forest steppes and the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts in the arid north to subtropical forests in the wetter south. The Himalaya, Karakoram, Pamir and Tian Shan mountain ranges separate China from South and Central Asia. The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the third- and sixth-longest in the world, run from the Tibetan Plateau to the densely populated eastern seaboard. China's coastline along the Pacific Ocean is 14,500 kilometres (9,000 mi) long, and is bounded by the Bohai, Yellow, East and South China Seas.
The imperative is a grammatical mood that forms commands or requests, including the giving of prohibition or permission, or any other kind of advice or exhortation.
An example of a verb in the imperative mood is be in the English sentence "Please be quiet". Imperatives of this type imply a second-person subject (you); some languages also have first- and third-person imperatives, with the meaning of "let's (do something)" or "let him/her/them (do something)" (these forms may alternatively be called cohortative and jussive).
Imperative mood can be denoted by the glossing abbreviation IMP. It is one of the irrealis moods.
Imperative mood is often expressed using special conjugated verb forms. Like other finite verb forms, imperatives often inflect for person and number. Second-person imperatives (used for ordering or requesting performance directly from the person being addressed) are most common, but some languages also have imperative forms for the first and third persons (alternatively called cohortative and jussive respectively).
State schools (also known as public schools, though not in England and Wales) generally refer to primary or secondary schools mandated for or offered to all children without charge, funded in whole or in part by taxation. The term may also refer to public institutions of post-secondary education.
State education includes basic education, kindergarten to twelfth grade, also referred to as primary and secondary education, as well as post-secondary educational institutions such as universities, colleges, and technical schools funded and overseen by government rather than private entities.
State education is inclusive, both in its treatment of students and in that enfranchisement for the government of public education is as broad as for government generally. It is often organized and operated to be a deliberate model of the civil community in which it functions. Although typically provided to groups of students in classrooms in a central school, it may be provided in-home, employing visiting teachers,and/or supervising teachers. It can also be provided in non-school, non-home settings, such as shopping mall space.
Miss A (미쓰에이), stylized as miss A, is a four-member Korean-Chinese K-pop girl group based in South Korea. They were formed in 2010 and are managed by JYP Entertainment. The group consists of Fei, Jia, Min, and Suzy. Their group name stands for Miss Asia and the highest rank, A.
Originally, the group consisted of five trainees who were formed by JYP Entertainment in 2010. While still in training, the group flew to China where they appeared in numerous variety shows performing dance routines and songs to showcase themselves to the Chinese audience. As the group had no official name, they were known to the Chinese audiences as JYP Sisters and the "Chinese Wonder Girls". However, the group went through several changes during this period; the withdrawal of two members and most notably the exit of member Lim who was re-grouped to join the Wonder Girls.
On March 2010, fifteen-year-old trainee Bae Suzy joined the group and the trio became known as 'Miss A'. Suzy has worked previously as a model for an online shopping mall. The group began their first official promotional activities in China as a group by signing up with the Samsung Electronics group in China. The group released a song used for the commercial called "Love Again" for the Samsung Beat Festival. The song was written by Korean composer Super Changddai, and the music video was directed by Hong Won Ki.Lee Min Young, a solo artist and a long-time trainee in America, also made a cameo appearance in the music video. She had auditioned when she was in the 6th grade, and she traveled to the U.S., where she trained for 6 years. She came back in 2008 to continue activities in Korea. During her time in New York, she studied at the Repertory Company High School in Manhattan. It was later announced that she would be joining the group under her stage name, Min, for their South Korean debut on April.

As an English tutor in Chengdu, PRC, I have had the opportunity to meet a large number of very bright and talented youngsters. Although a young, exceptionally talented pianist is not rare in China, it was still a thrill to be able to listen to Xie Jing Fei (aka Lily) play these three very complicated compositions. Lily is only 10 years old, but she began piano lessons at the tender age of four. I feel very humbled and honored to have met Lily and to have had the chance to watch and listen to her play. She obviously enjoys the piano very much and I wish her much success.

The Dufu Thatched Cottage is a must-see attraction in Chengdu - it was the home of one of China's most famous classical poets: Dufu. It is a simple cottage without much in and of itself, but people come here to pay their respects to his work and his genius, because his work is greatly respected here in China, and really, all over the world to those who know anything of Asian literature. There is a cool little park, a couple of small lakes, a little river, and a lot of greenery! It's a great place to come hang out and see what people are getting up to here :) "What To Do?" Some of the best Sichuan street food I experienced while traveling in Chengdu this year. When we arrived at the gate of Jin Li Pedestrian Street, we were scared. It was packed with people. We made the mistake of going during the Chinese holiday, Mid-Autumn Festival. Luckily, we didn't chicken out. The street is made-up to look like an ancient Chengdu commercial street, which is exactly what it was 1800 years ago. We checked out the many souvenirs (lots of Panda stuff!), browsed the amazing food, and soaked in all the incredible sights. There's a ton to see on Jin Li Street. Make sure to bring your camera and an appetite. ---/// ABOUT ME \\\--- I live in Chengdu, China and am constantly exploring and traveling the country and other parts of Asia.
